This painting is a tribute to my father, part of the serie about my family. It explore our connection through the loafers he always wore when I was a child. Beck then, my brother and I would laugh at the way he dressed. I couldn’t appreciate it yet. Now, every time I put on those shoes, I carry a little of him with me. In this painting, there is my father, the boy I was, and the man I have become.
