This piece is part of a very personal serie about my Grandpa Salvatore, and the memories he left behind. This time I paint his old grey BMW E30. Whenever he stopped somewher, he’d smile at me and sa,  WAIT IN THE CAR. I’d sit there for what felt like forever, wondering when he’d come bac. Back the,I hated waiting. Today, I’d give anything to hear those words just one more time. For my granfathe, Salvatore. “ WAIT IN THE CAR”
