Today, through my painting, I reclaim that image with nostalgia and perhaps with a touch of naivety as a symbolic act of resistance. I reclaim play as sacred space. Childhood as a territory free from hatred. Imaginativos as a tool for transformation.

This work is born from the hope that one day we will truly live in a world without conflict. A declaration of peace.
